Much of this work is based on desire to connect with place and heritage. Nostalgic symbols and fragmented memories are recombined, reflecting an emotional imprint of family, lovers, and culture on the psyche.

Printed at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis while Kacie was earning her BFA, these large, one-of-a-kind works on paper incorporate drawing, painting, woodcut, lithography, etching, and stenciling.
